Returns & Refund Policy
Our Refund Policy is in addition to, and does not exclude, any other rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
1. CAN I GET A REFUND OF THE SIM CARD/eSIM?
The USA SIM Card/eSIM is a prepaid SIM Card/eSIM. We do not accept returns nor give any refunds if you simply changed your mind, found it cheaper somewhere else, decided you did not like the purchase, had no use for it (for example if you cancelled your trip for any reason including but not limited to you being unable to travel because you received a positive COVID test) or you misused the SIM Card/eSIM (for example if you lost it, damaged it, deleted the eSIM from your phone, didn’t request activation of the SIM Card, or you couldn’t use the SIM Card/eSIM because your mobile phone was network locked or your phone wasn’t technically compatible).
However if you purchased a physical SIM Card and you have already requested an activation date for the SIM Card then you can:
(i) give the SIM Card to a family member or friend for them to use from the activation date you requested in your original order. You don’t need to let us know if you give the SIM Card to someone else (however anyone else using the SIM Card is bound by the same Terms of Sale appearing on our website at usaprepaidsimcard.com.au); or
(ii) change the activation date for the SIM Card as set out in paragraph 2 below.
Or if you purchased a physical SIM Card and you haven’t requested an activation date for the SIM Card then you can keep the SIM Card and request an activation date that is within two (2) years of your original purchase. You don’t need to let us know if you do this – just follow the activation instructions in due course.
Or if you purchased an eSIM and you have already requested an activation date for the eSIM then you can change the activation date for the eSIM as set out in paragraph 2 below.
Or if you purchased an eSIM and you haven’t requested an activation date for the eSIM then you can request an activation date for the eSIM that is within two (2) years of your original purchase. You don’t need to let us know if you do this – just follow the activation instructions in due course.
2. CAN I CHANGE THE ACTIVATION DATE OF THE SIM CARD/eSIM?
Yes, but you must email us at info@usaprepaidsimcard.com.au at least three (3) days prior to the date you requested for activation. For example, if you requested activation on 25 December, you can change the activation request if you email us at info@usaprepaidsimcard.com.au no later than 22 December.
3. CAN I GET A REFUND OF THE RECHARGE?
No. We do not give any refunds if you simply changed your mind, found it cheaper somewhere else, decided you did not like the purchase, had no use for it, or if your trip to the USA was cancelled because of any COVID related issue including things such as, but not limited to, you not being able to travel due to receiving a positive COVID test result.
