* Data Usage
If you use 50GB of data in the USA and/or Mexico, AT&T may temporarily slow your speeds for the rest of your 30-day plan, but only when the local cell tower is busy. It is not guaranteed, only possible.
If you are a heavy data user, choose the Gold Add-On. It gives you unlimited high-speed data that will not slow down even after 50GB.
In Canada you receive 25GB of data. This is separate and not affected by usage in the USA or Mexico.

You need to use your phone in the USA first to activate roaming for Canada. If you are only transiting through the USA (e.g., via LAX or SFO), just make a call or send a text at the airport. There is no way around this, which means if you are flying direct to Canada, the AT&T Unlimited Plan will not work. In that case, choose the T-Mobile Unlimited Plan.
